I’ve gotten back in the habit of swimming every day.  About five years ago, I lost 40 pounds doing just that.  I’m trying to lose weight, but for me it’s a relaxation thing.  The cool water, the silence when you go beneath the surface… it’s the only exercise where you can get hot and tired and you won’t feel the sweat.  To me, it’s home.

When I’m in the water, I don’t want to get out.  When I miss a day of swimming, I feel like I’m missing out.

Today I did laps for 40 minutes, which should help me sleep well.  Exercise is important with BP.  The endorphins are like ninjas whooping it’s butt.

Can’t wait to jump in tomorrow…
